India, June 12 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR) of Katpadi Dealers (P) Ltd, a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) registered in West Bengal, with effect from May 20, 2026. The cancellation order was issued in exercise of powers conferred under Section 45-IA(6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.The company, headquartered at 12, Baidyanath Mullick Lane, Barabazar, Kolkata, West Bengal 700007, held CoR No. B.05.05495, which was originally granted on September 16, 2003.
