India, June 12 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR) of Jupiter Projects (P) Ltd, a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) registered in West Bengal, with effect from May 22, 2026. The cancellation order was issued in exercise of powers conferred under Section 45-IA(6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.The company, headquartered at 19/1/C Dargah Road, Kolkata, West Bengal 700017, held CoR No. B.05.00925, which was originally granted on December 03, 1998. The registration remained valid for approximately 28 years before the RBI decided to revoke it.With the cancellation of its registration, Jupiter Projects (P) Ltd is no longer permitted to transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial I...
