India, May 15 -- The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR No. B.05.06611) of Purvanchal Investment And Trading Company Private Limited, registered at 3, Harish Mukherjee Road, Merlin Legend, 4th Floor, Suite No. 402, Kolkata, West Bengal, India - 700020. The CoR, originally issued on May 28, 2022, was cancelled on April 17, 2026 after the company surrendered its registration. The cancellation was necessitated due to exit from Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) business.With this cancellation, Purvanchal Investment And Trading Company Private Limited is no longer authorised to carry on the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution as defined under Section 45-I(a) of the RBI Act, 1934.
