India, May 15 -- The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR No. N-13.01337) of HDFC Holdings Limited, registered at Ramon House, H T Parekh, 169 Backbay Reclamation, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India - 400020. The CoR, originally issued on May 15, 2000, was cancelled on April 15, 2026 after the company surrendered its registration. The cancellation was necessitated due to the company ceasing to be a legal entity due to amalgamation/merger/dissolution/voluntary strike-off.With this cancellation, HDFC Holdings Limited is no longer authorised to carry on the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution as defined under Section 45-I(a) of the RBI Act, 1934.
