RBI cancels Certificate of Registration of Woodhat Distributors Pvt Ltd

India, July 16 -- The Reserve Bank of India, in exercise of powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR No. B.05.03229, issued on September 10, 1999) of Woodhat Distributors Pvt Ltd, having its registered office at 29 Ganesh Chandra Avenu4th Floor Room No 407Bowbazar, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, 700013. The cancellation order was passed on June 29, 2026.As such, the company shall not transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution, as defined in clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.
