India, July 16 -- The Reserve Bank of India, in exercise of powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR No. B-05.06985, issued on January 28, 2015) of Sipani Hire Purchase And Finance Co Pvt Ltd, having its registered office at 2A, Ganesh Chandra Avenue Ground Floor, Room No.- 11, Cabin No - G, 1, Kolkata, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, 700013. The cancellation order was passed on June 10, 2026.As such, the company shall not transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution, as defined in clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.
