India, July 16 -- Shell Business Pvt. Ltd., having its registered office at 5F, Everrest 46/C Chowringhee Road P S Shakespeare Sarani, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, 700071, has surrendered its Certificate of Registration (CoR No. B.05.05348, issued on February 05, 2003) granted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The Reserve Bank of India, in exercise of powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, has therefore cancelled the company's CoR, following the company meeting the criteria prescribed for an unregistered Core Investment Company (CIC) that does not require registration.
