India, Oct. 9 -- The Reserve Bank of India, in exercise of powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, has cancelled the Certificate of Registration of Sarla Finance Pvt. Ltd. by its order dated September 21, 2026.The company's registered office is at Star Residency, 3, Chotopole, Raigachi Rajarhat, Rajarhat Main Road, Parganas North, Kolkata, West Bengal, 700135. Its Certificate of Registration (CoR No. B.05.04235) was issued on July 17, 2001.As such, Sarla Finance Pvt. Ltd. shall not transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution, as defined in clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.
