India, July 16 -- The Reserve Bank of India, in exercise of powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, has cancelled the Certificate of Registration (CoR No. B.12.00373, issued on September 25, 2002) of S.J.R. Auto Financiers Private Limited, having its registered office at 7A Bentinck Street 4th Floor, Room No- 407, Kolkata, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, 700001. The cancellation order was passed on June 10, 2026.As such, the company shall not transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution, as defined in clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.
