India, Oct. 9 -- The Reserve Bank of India, in exercise of powers conferred on it under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, has cancelled the Certificate of Registration of Britex Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. by its order dated September 14, 2026.The company's registered office is at 1/1B, Upper Wood Street, Kolkata, West Bengal, 700017. Its Certificate of Registration (CoR No. B.05.05988) was issued on January 19, 2004.As such, Britex Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. shall not transact the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution, as defined in clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.
