Raytheon awarded $45,397,968 awarded $45,397,968 contract

United States, April 2 -- Raytheon, Aurora, Colorado, has been awarded a $45,397,968 unpriced change order (P00490) to the previously awarded contract FA8807-10-C-0001 for the Global Positioning System Next Generation Operational Control System. The modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $4,589,863,136 from $4,544,465,168. Work will be performed at various locations and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2027. Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $9,000,000 are being obligated at time of award. The Space Systems Command, Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California, is the contracting activity. (Awarded March 31, 2026).
