United States, March 4 -- R4-Integration, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, was awarded a $74,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract to procure and integrate the KuKa Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) Communication Suite into HC-130J aircraft. This contract provides for the purchase of 39 KuKa BLOS Communication Suite systems, to include all necessary hardware and software components for integration into the aircraft, integration, and testing of trial kits, followed by production of kits, spares, installation of kits, technical data publications, emergency services, and satellite communication services for both communication bands.
