Qatar, Oct. 23 -- QatarEnergy signed two long-term Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs) with Cheniere for the purchase of up to 4 million tons per annum (MTPA) of LNG from Cheniere's Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi facilities in the States of Louisiana and Texas respectively, located along the United States Gulf Coast.Under the terms of the SPAs, deliveries will be on an FOB basis and are anticipated to commence in 2031 and continue through 2054.The SPAs were signed by His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy, and Mr. Jack Fusco, Chairman, President and CEO of Cheniere Energy, Inc.
