Singapore, Oct. 27 -- OCBC has been recognised as the strongest bank in Singapore and Asia Pacific, and third globally, in the latest World's 1,000 Strongest Banks ranking by The Asian Banker. The accolade comes after OCBC took the top spot among global banks in the inaugural World's Top Performing Banks ranking developed by Forbes and Statista in September 2026.This marks the first time a Singapore bank has finished among the top three in the world since The Asian Banker's ranking was introduced in 2023. The Bank is also the top performer in the Straits Times Index this year, with its share price up by 46.8% year-to-date as of 23 October 2026.
