United States, June 12 -- Nextgen Federal, Morgantown, West Virginia, has been awarded a ceiling $14,081,185 cost-type contract for the Enterprise Environmental Portal E2P, named BIFROST.This contract provides for integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning to assist with workflow management, command and control, and production of weather products. Work will be performed at Morgantown, West Virginia, and is expected to be completed by June 21, 2030.This contract was a sole source acquisition. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance and research and development funds in the amount of $1,475,062 are being obligated at time of award.
