Italy, Sept. 29 -- MAIRE (MAIRE.MI) announces that Nextchem, through its nitrogen technology licensor Stamicarbon, has been selected by a prominent international player for a new 3,150 metric tons per day (MTPD) urea plant in China. Stamicarbon's scope covers the technology license, Process Design Package and proprietary equipment supply.The project will be based on NX STAMI (TM) Urea, Nextchem's proprietary technology for urea production, and will adopt the Ultra-Low Energy (ULE) design to enhance energy efficiency and operational performance.
