United States, July 17 -- Next Semiconductor Technologies Inc., San Diego, California, has been awarded a $34,142,054 cost-plus-fixed-fee completion contract for Heterogenous Microelectronics for Assured Non-Kinetics.This contract provides for developing heterogeneous microelectronics components. Work will be performed at San Diego, California, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 13, 2031. This contract was a competitive acquisition, and two offers were received.Fiscal 2025 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $4,250,000; and fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $1,000, are being obligated at time of award.
