New railway bridge over Serbia's Tamis River, built with CSCEC's participation, opens to traffic

China, May 11 -- Recently, the new railway bridge over the Tamis River in Serbia-where CSCEC handled the steel fabrication and installation-officially opened to traffic.The Tamis River railway bridge spans the Tamis River, a key waterway in Eastern Europe, and is located in the city of Pan?evo, Serbia. The original bridge on the site was built in 1880. As modern railway standards evolved over the decades, the old bridge could no longer meet current traffic demands. In 2024, Serbia's Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure began construction of a new bridge alongside the old one.
