National Institute of Building Sciences Awarded $19.7 Million for Construction Standards Support

United States, July 21 -- National Institute of Building Sciences, Washington, D.C., is awarded $19,697,634 for a firm-fixed-price contract for industrialized construction criteria standards and design support.Work will be performed in Washington, D.C. and is expected to complete by July 2028.Fiscal 2024 and fiscal 2026 military construction (Navy) funds in the amount of $19,697,634 will be obligated at time of award, and funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year (N39430-26-C-2001). This contract procured as a sole source contract utilizing 10 U.S. Code 3204(a)(5). Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, California, is the contracting activity.
