National Industries for the Blind Awarded $15.6 Million Helmet Pad Contract

United States, Sept. 10 -- National Industries for the Blind, Alexandria, Virginia, has been awarded an estimated $15,600,000 modification (P000021) exercising the fourth one-year option period of a one-year base contract (SPE1C1-23-D-B002) with four one-year option periods for advanced combat helmet pad suspension system. This is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.The performance completion date is Sept. 16, 2027. Using military service is Army.Type of appropriation is fiscal 2026 through 2027 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
