Nanometrics Awarded $15 Million Contract for Geophysical Field System Refresh

United States, July 31 -- Nanometrics Inc., Natka, Canada,?has been awarded a $15,000,000 ceiling, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract with for Geophysical Field System technical refresh.This contract provides hardware to replace Geophysical Field Systems seismometers and data acquisition subsystem equipment. The work will be performed at Natka, Canada, and is expected to be completed July 31, 2034. The contract was a competitive acquisition, and one offer was received.Fiscal 2026 procurement funds in the amount of $955,000 are being obligated at time of award.
