Morocco, May 26 -- Africa is undergoing a "silent but irreversible" industrial transition, even as progress remains uneven and concentrated. This is according to two reports launched today on the sidelines of the African Development Bank Group's 2026 Annual Meetings in Brazzaville.The Bank Group launched the 2025 edition of its Africa Industrialization Index (AII) alongside the inaugural Africa Industrial Investment Barometer (AfIIB) report, developed by WITBA Invest SA in partnership with Trendeo.
