Living wall arrives in Liverpool ahead of new nature park
United Kingdom, July 22 -- A new living wall has been installed by BAM at the site of the former Royal Liverpool Hospital, as collaborators continue to build the city's new nature-first garden. The 33m vertical meadow, installed by BAM UK & Ireland in an exclusive collaboration with the Eden Project, will surround the garden's current construction site, creating a preliminary habitat for local wildlife.The biodiverse garden, due to be completed in 2027, looks to bring green space and wildlife to the city centre through its considered design. The new living wall will act as a stepping stone towards its completion, using native plants to encourage diverse pollinators to the area and increase the garden's ecological viability once constructed....
