United States, Aug. 12 -- Leonardo DRS Airborne and Intelligence Systems, Beavercreek, Ohio, is awarded a $39,608,346 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the production and delivery of up to 55 Joint Tactical Terminal Transceiver units. This contract also provides for non-recurring engineering, aircraft integration, qualification, and production support for the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft in support of enhancing threat warning and situational awareness leveraging resilient communications over government and commercial non-geo stationary orbit networks for the Navy.Work will be performed in Beavercreek, Ohio, and is expected to be completed in February 2028.
