LAD Services of Louisiana Awarded $11.5 Million Contract for Three Steel Barges

United States, Sept. 30 -- LAD Services of Louisiana LLC, Morgan City, Louisiana, was awarded an $11,520,000 firm-fixed-price contract to acquire three new welded steel barges.Bids were solicited via the internet with six received. Work will be performed in Morgan City, Louisiana, with an estimated completion date of June 16, 2028.Fiscal 2026 defense revolving funds in the amount of $11,520,000 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity (W912BU-26-C-A043).
