United States, July 21 -- Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Laurel, Maryland, has been awarded a $199,268,833 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for support on the Sentinel program. This contract provides research and development engineering services.Work will be performed at several locations throughout the U.S. and is expected to be completed by July 23, 2029. This contract was a sole source acquisition.Fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $31,323,302 are being obligated at time of award. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8204-26-F-B008).
