Japan, Aug. 26 -- The Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) signed on August 25 a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB; President: Ilan Goldfajn) and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest; Chief Executive Officer: James P. Scriven) to strengthen cooperation on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Japan's membership in the IDB. The IDB is an international development finance institution serving Latin America and the Caribbean region (LAC). As a member of the IDB Group, IDB Invest is focused on providing innovative financial solutions and advisory services to the private sector.
