Japan, June 22 -- Vestas has secured a 29 MW order in Japan for the Hachiryu Wind Power Station Repowering Project from M Winds Hachiryu Co., Ltd., a group company of Meidensha Corporation. The contract includes the supply and installation of seven V136-4.2 MW wind turbines and a 10-year AOM5000 service agreement. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled for the first quarter of 2028, with commissioning planned during 2028. The project supports the modernization and long-term operation of the Hachiryu Wind Power Station, contributing to Japan's renewable energy generation capacity.
