France, April 29 -- The jack-up installation vessel Vole au vent has installed the final of 61 wind turbines at the Iles d'Yeu et de Noirmoutier offshore wind farm in France, completing installation works and bringing the 500 MW project to full capacity, according to Jan De Nul. Developed by EMYN, the wind farm is expected to generate enough electricity to supply approximately 800,000 people annually. The installation campaign, carried out in cooperation with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, covered 61 turbines located between the islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier in the Atlantic Ocean.Offshore works began in May 2025 and have now been completed.
