United States, March 31 -- Inversion Space Co., San Francisco, California, was awarded a $18,973,049 firm fixed price contract for the point-to-point transportation program. This contract provides for the development, testing and demonstration of the arc re-entry vehicle for in-space and point-to-point operations. Work will be performed at Los Angeles, California, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2028. This contract was a sole source acquisition. Fiscal 2025 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $5,500,000; and fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $2,500,000, are being obligated at time of award.
