United States, Sept. 24 -- The Inter-American Development Bank Group (IDB Group) convened its newly established Advisory Council on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, bringing together global public- and private-sector leaders and experts to help shape strategies to advance development in Latin America and the Caribbean. Established this year as an external source of strategic insight, the Advisory Council is designed to help the IDB Group anticipate emerging trends, identify opportunities for the region, and strengthen engagement with influential stakeholders around the world.
