United States, May 7 -- The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) announced the appointment of Everett Eissenstat as Executive Vice President, following his approval by the Board of Executive Directors. He will begin on June 1, 2026. In his role, Eissenstat will serve as the Bank's chief operating officer, with responsibility for the operation of the institution and its senior management. He will oversee the quality control and risk management of all IDB operations, advise the president on key corporate planning issues, and is responsible for the implementation of business and strategy plans.
