United States, July 10 -- The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Korea National Police Agency (KNPA) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in public security and institutional capacities in Latin America and the Caribbean.The agreement establishes a non-exclusive framework to promote cooperative programs and projects aimed at improving public security in the region. The collaboration focuses on strengthening law enforcement institutions by leveraging advanced investigative technologies and the KNPA's "K-policing" model.
