United States, Oct. 28 -- On October 27, Hydro marked the start of construction of a new 5,900 tonne indirect extrusion press line at Cressona, Pennsylvania. The USD 53.5 million investment will modernize production capabilities and strengthen Hydro's North American manufacturing footprint, with operations expected to commence in the first quarter of 2028.This indirect extrusion press investment marks the latest step in Hydro's strategic modernization efforts in North America.
