United States, June 15 -- Huntington Ingalls Inc., Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Virginia, is awarded a $44,117,851 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-21-C-2106) for USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) Refueling Complex Overhaul supplemental work and a special incentive for schedule performance.Work will be performed in Newport News, Virginia and is expected to be completed by October 2026.Fiscal 2026 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $15,000,000 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
