Germany, April 13 -- A joint venture led by HOCHTIEF Infrastructure has been awarded the modernization of the military airport in ?aslav, one of the key centres of the Czech Air Force. The contract value is approximately EUR 220 million. The modernization is necessary to ensure the long-term safe and reliable operation of aviation technology used by the Army of the Czech Republic and NATO allies. The runway has not been comprehensively reconstructed for several decades, with only partial maintenance carried out in the past.
