Norway, Oct. 2 -- Hanne Simensen will become new Executive Vice President (EVP) for Bauxite & Alumina, effective on November 1, 2026.Simensen succeeds John Thuestad who has decided to step down after eight years as EVP for Bauxite & Alumina. Simensen joined Hydro in 1994 and has held several positions across the company, most recently as EVP for Aluminium Metal from 2024. Simensen has previously held positions as EVP for People & HSE, Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of Aluminium Metal Commercial, and SVP and Director of Global Businesses Services.
