Cote Dlvoire, Oct. 21 -- GE Vernova announced that it will provide the gas power technology for the new Songon combined-cycle power plant, located in the Songon region near Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. Following the signing of financing agreements last June, Songon Energies - Ivorian development investment company focused on advancing energy infrastructure - selected GE Vernova to supply a 9E gas turbine and generator.
