United States, July 17 -- G & G Steel Inc., Russellville, Alabama, was awarded a $14,609,132 firm-fixed-price contract for fabrication and delivery of one replacement miter gate for the Poe Lock at the Soo Locks Complex.Bids were solicited via the internet with five received. Work will be performed in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, with an estimated completion date of July 31, 2029.Fiscal 2025 civil operation and maintenance funds in the amount of $14,609,132 were obligated at the time of the award.
