United States, June 11 -- Florida State University - Center for Advanced Power Systems, Tallahassee, Florida, is awarded an $88,011,380 cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost only contract for research and development activities associated with modeling-based systems engineering, simulation and testing of Navy advanced shipboard electrical power and energy systems and components. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $99,469,604.
