Peru, July 6 -- ENGIE was awarded four major power transmission projects in Peru for a 30-year concession, following a tender process promoted by ProInversión under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework. Together, they include the construction of more than 400 kilometers of new transmission lines, the development of six new substations, and the expansion of ten existing substations. Located across the regions of Piura, Lambayeque, Junín, and Ayacucho, key areas of northern and central Peru, the awarded projects include the 500 kV Miguel Grau-Pariñas Transmission Line, the 220 kV Felam-Tierras, Nuevas-Salitral and Muyurina-Mollepata Transmission Lines and the new 220/60 kV Palian Substation, among other associated infrastructure.
