EMS Development Awarded $9.3 Million Navy Contract for Virginia-Class Submarine Magnetometers
United States, June 16 -- EMS Development Corp., Yaphank, New York, is being awarded $9,299,836 for a firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 308 outboard magnetometers used on Virginia-class submarines.The contract does not contain an option provision. All work will be performed in Yaphank, New York, and is expected to be completed by December 2028.Fiscal 2026 working capital funds (Navy) in the contract's full amount of $9,299,836 will be obligated at time of award and funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
