Greece, Feb. 18 -- The European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a new €30 million financing agreement with the City of Thessaloniki, supporting the implementation of the city's 2025-2030 investment programme within the framework of its Climate Neutrality Plan 2030.This marks the second direct financing operation between the EIB and the City, following their successful 2015 cooperation, which enabled the delivery of 46 urban development projects.Contributing to the "Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities" MissionThessaloniki is among the 23 EU cities awarded the European Commission's Mission Label under the initiative for 100 climate-neutral and smart cities.
