United Kingdom, May 18 -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has appointed Andreea Moraru as Managing Director for Central Europe and the Baltic States.Currently serving as Director for Poland and the Baltic states, Ms. Moraru will take up her new role on 1 June, and will lead the Bank's operations in Croatia, Hungary, Poland, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.As Managing Director, Ms. Moraru will guide the EBRD's engagement to ensure that investments deliver tangible benefits, respond to evolving regional challenges and contribute to long?term sustainable growth.
