CSCEC helps bring clean tap water to over 1,000 villagers in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka, March 13 -- The Meththarama Drinking Water Supply Project built by CSCEC in Sri Lanka has recently been put into operation, providing stable and clean water to around 250 households. Launched in January 2026, the project renovated the village's aging wells and basic distribution facilities while adding anti-contamination measures. CSCEC also built a 20,000-liter storage tank, laid about 3.6 kilometers of pipelines, and installed two high-pressure pumps to ensure a stable supply to every household.The improved water system is expected to positively affect many aspects of daily life.Local farmer Sunil said, his family used to worry about water shortages during the dry season.
