Butt Construction Awarded $17.5 Million for Aerospace Ground Equipment Facility at Lackland

United States, Sept. 28 -- Butt Construction Co. Inc., Dayton, Ohio, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract for design-bid-build construction of an aerospace ground equipment facility.The amount of this action is $17,461,720 with a total cumulative face value of $17,729,345. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Lackland, Texas, with an estimated completion date of May 25, 2029.Fiscal 2026 military construction, Air Force Reserve funds in the amount of $17,461,720 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Kentucky, is the contracting activity (W912QR-26-C-A033).
