France, June 25 -- Bureau Veritas is pleased to announce it has successfully completed the assessment and requalification of the Petrogas pipeline for CO? transport. This marks an important step in the development of carbon capture and storage (CCS) in the Dutch North Sea.On 28 May 2026, following more than 1.5 years of study, technical review, and preparation, it was confirmed that the existing 20-inch pipeline between the Q1 block and the EVOS terminal can be adapted for CO? transport as part of the Abeona CCS project.
