Brazil, Oct. 26 -- The Board of Executive Directors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) approved a $92.3 million investment loan for the Brazilian state of Pernambuco to improve revenue collection and expenditure management.The financing is part of Profisco III, an IDB-supported program implemented in coordination with the Brazilian federal government to help states modernize fiscal administration, support the implementation of the country's landmark tax reform, and enhance the long-term fiscal sustainability of subnational governments.The program will help Pernambuco strengthen its fiscal position and capacity to plan, manage, and oversee public resources.
