Germany, July 22 -- Boeing and Lufthansa Technik Defense have agreed general terms for their roles in sustaining Germany's new CH-47F Block II Chinook heavy-lift helicopters. The agreement signed at the Farnborough International Airshow this Wednesday forms the base for the future sustainment for Germany's Chinook fleet and establishes the framework for a main contract under which Lufthansa Technik, together with Boeing, will set up an agile network of parts warehouses to support the operating bases for the CH-47Fs.
