Bates Engineers/Contractors Awarded $12.3 Million Elevated Water Storage Tank Contract

United States, Sept. 30 -- Bates Engineers/Contractors Inc., Bainbridge, Georgia, was awarded a $12,321,816 firm-fixed-price contract to erect an elevated composite water storage tank, construct an access road, parking area, and security fence, and demolish the existing water storage tank.Bids were solicited via the internet with five received. Work will be performed in Columbus, Mississippi, with an estimated completion date of June 21, 2028.Fiscal 2026 military construction, Air Force funds in the amount of $12,321,816 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, Alabama, is the contracting activity (W91278-26-C-A023).
